FAQs
Will you have vegetarian & gluten free options for food?
The dinner buffet will have vegetarian and gluten free options (not celiac safe) to hopefully fit most dietary restrictions.
Can I bring someone who is not affiliated with GFS?
Absolutely! The Gala is a wonderful event to invite friends, neighbors and family. It's a special way for them to support our school while having fun at the same time.

Can I bring my children?
While we love our kiddos, this is a child-free event. Start thinking about babysitters now!

I don't have much extra money to spend on the auction. Is it worth attending?
Definitely! Just attending the event is a way to support GFS. We'll have silent auction items at all different price points, but there is no obligation to bid.

I can't attend but would like to make a donation and/or sponsor a teacher to attend. How do I do that?
We welcome your donation! Any amount helps our school. To sponsor a teacher's gala ticket, please note that in the donation description box. Tickets are $55 each and are offered to all GFS teachers and support staff.

What should I wear??
It's a "Groovy" theme! Think late 60's, early 70's. Hippie vibes, bellbottoms, bright colors, tie dye, peace and love. Click here for some inspiration!

What's the Wine Raffle?
GFS families each donates a bottle of wine valued at $20+. We gather the wine, and one lucky winner will win the lot! It's typically between 25-40 bottles and a fun mix of red, white, and bubbly. Raffle tickets are $5each or $20 for 5. Buy them on this webpage and at the Gala. The winner does not need to be present to win.
