Will you have vegetarian, vegan, & gluten free options for food? 

The dinner buffet will have vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options (not celiac safe) to hopefully fit most dietary restrictions. 

 

Can I bring someone who is not affiliated with GFS? 

Absolutely! The Gala is a wonderful event to invite friends, neighbors and family. It's a special way for them to support our school while having fun at the same time.

Can I bring my children? 

While we love our kiddos, this is a child-free event. Start thinking about babysitters now!

I don't have much extra money to spend on the auction. Is it worth attending? 

Definitely! Just attending the event is a way to support GFS. We'll have silent auction items at all different price points, but there is no obligation to bid.

Our kids attend GFS. We'd really like to go, but money is tight right now. What should I do?

We want all our GFS families to be able to attend the Gala! If you need a special consideration, please reach out to your teacher, anyone on the PTA board, or anyone on the Gala Crew.

I can't attend but would like to make a donation and/or sponsor a teacher to attend. How do I do that? 

We welcome your donation! Any amount helps our school. To sponsor a teacher's gala ticket, please note that in the donation description box. Tickets are $60 each and are offered to all GFS teachers and support staff. Donate | Goleta Family School

What should I wear??

Dress like you’re going to a party in the early 2000s—think shiny fabrics, low‑rise jeans, tiny sunglasses, and fun accessories. Imagine the fashion from old MTV music videos: playful, colorful, and a little futuristic. Anything metallic, sparkly, or denim-heavy will fit right in. You can also dress up like a celebrity or a famous movie character. Be creative! We'll still let you in if you don't dress the part ;) See below for an inspiration board.

​What's the Disney Raffle?

You can enter to win a $500 Disney gift card to take the whole family to Disneyland! Tickets are $20 each or 3 for $50.  Only GFS families, alumni and their guests may purchase tickets. The winner does not need to be present to win.
